Sandra made an appearance on Ellen Degeneres this Monday (18) to promote her new film Minions. She talked also about Louis and the present he gave to her on Mother’s Day, a song like ‘There was a mom I love so much and Sandy was her name-o.’ You can watch the whole interview below:
Sometimes studios fall ass backwards into good fortune, and that was the case for Universal with “Despicable Me.” Not only was the original movie a smash hit that started a franchise, with a sequel in 2013, and another planned for 2017, but those little yellow creatures were also a huge audience favorite. Now, “Minions” are getting their own chance to shine in a standalone movie and a brand new trailer is here.
While Sandra Bullock, Jon Hamm, Michael Keaton, Allison Janney, Steve Coogan, and Geoffrey Rush lend their voices to the movie, the yellow guys who can make sounds, but barely form words, are the real stars of the show. And they do have a goofy charm that is pretty undeniable, and there are some pretty great gags through this spot which opens with a trip through history, before settling down with the plot that involves stealing a crown or something. Anyway, you’re not here for the plot but for the jokes, and there are plenty.
“Minions” opens on July 10th.
According to Average Socialite, Minions Premiere in Los Angeles will be held at Regency Village Theatre on June 27. The UK Premiere will be at Leicester Sq. in London on June 11, according to CelebIntelUK.
I have scans from People ‘World’s Most Beautiful’ Issue, that hit stands today. It features a great interview and a beautiful new photoshoot. Check it:
People – Despite being in “princess mode” while shooting for this year’s cover story, Bullock, 50, insists she just laughed when she heard about the honor. “No, really. I just said, ‘That’s ridiculous,’ ” she tells PEOPLE. “I’ve told no one.”
Instead the Oscar winner, who voices a supervillain in the upcoming movie Minions, has found beauty in her role as mom to her 5-year-old son, Louis, adding that their life together is a constant reminder of what’s important.
“Real beauty is quiet. Especially in this town, it’s just so hard not to say, ‘Oh, I need to look like that,’ ” she explains. “No, be a good person, be a good mom, do a good job with the lunch, let someone cut in front of you who looks like they’re in a bigger hurry. The people I find most beautiful are the ones who aren’t trying.”
They also have up a video compilation with Sandy’s roles, to prove she’s not only the most beautiful, but also the most fun!
Check back this weekend for proper scans.
The information is being shared by The Tracking Board and while I’m labeling as ‘rumoured project’, I really hope this is true.
