The promotion work for “Extremely Loud And Incredibly Close” has started and last December 07th Sandy attended the press conference for the movie in Los Angeles. You’ll find 50+ pictures in our gallery:
I have posted here about Sandy being in talks to be Eastwook’s daughter on his next movie “Trouble with the Curve”, but it seems Sandy and Warner Bros. have been unable to come to terms.
Information comes from The Film Stage
George Clooney and Sandra Bullock are the only actors in their new film, ‘Gravity,’ which appears to be a ‘Major Tom’ style saga.
The pair star alongside one another in sci-fi drama ‘Gravity’ which is directed and co-written by Alfonso Cuaron. The film sees them portray two astronauts working on a space station together – George finds it odd that they don’t have any other co-stars.
George said: “A satellite blows up and space junk causes damage. We go out in space suits, and she and I are tethered together, floating through space.”
“It’s a two-hander with only two actors in the whole film. It is a very odd film, really. Two people in space. No monsters. It’s more like 2001 than an action film.”
The star admitted while he was thrilled to be working alongside Sandra – who he has been friends with for 20 years – he is less than impressed with the movie being shot in 3-D.
George added in an interview with USA Today: “Sandy is the lead. And she is beautiful in it. We have known each for way over 20 years. It’s fun to work with her.”
“It is the first time I’ve been in 3-D and, hopefully, the last time. It’s not near ready yet. They just showed the first cut to the studio.”
Even twenty years earlier, with a thick Jersey accent and what looks suspiciously like a Snooki poof piled atop her head, Sandra Bullock manages to look impossibly cute in early audition tapes that have surfaced on Snakkle.com. The high-waisted mom jeans, white t-shirt and hair all scream 1991; the talent that Bullock displays on camera says future Oscar winner.
Sandy attended last night the amfAR Gala, and I have added the first batch of HQ pictures. Check it:
More pictures to come, so keep checking! – Added more 180 HQ pictures donated by my friend Roberta. Go check it!
Warner Brothers and the IMAX Corporation are planning to continue their successful relationship in 2012 with three more releases in the IMAX format that haven’t been announced yet. They include the Alfonso Cuaron’s outer space thriller Gravity, starring George Clooney and Sandra Bullock. The movie also will be released in 3D.
Gravity is scheduled to hit theaters on November 21, 2012.
The days of Clint Eastwood acting in films he didn’t also direct were supposed to be over. Heck, the days where Eastwood acted in films he did direct were supposed to be winding down, too. But with his planned Beyonce-starring A Star Is Born delayed by Beyonce’s pregnancy word broke last week that Eastwood was looking seriously at starring in his business partner and frequent AD Robert Lorenz’s directing debut Trouble With The Curve.
Eastwood would play an aging baseball scout with failing eyesight who travels to Atlanta with his daughter to scout a young prospect. The big question when that news broke was who would play Eastwood’s daughter.
Well, Twitch has learned that producers – which, in this case means Eastwood and Lorenz as their company Malpaso has the lead on the film – are now in talks with Sandra Bullock to fill that part. This would represent another major step in Bullock’s evolution as she continues to look for more serious parts to work in amidst the comedy parts that have made her a star.
There is no proposed start date yet but given Eastwood and Lorenz’s historical working methods expect this to go fast once all the deals are in place.
Finally the official trailer for “Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close” has been released. You can watch it below:
Oskar is convinced that his father, who died in the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center, has left a final message for him hidden somewhere in the city. Feeling disconnected from his grieving mother and driven by a relentlessly active mind that refuses to believe in things that can’t be observed, Oskar begins searching New York City for the lock that fits a mysterious key he found in his father’s closet. His journey through the five boroughs takes him beyond his own loss to a greater understanding of the observable world around him.
