Wow wow wow wow, wow!!! Finally got to see Gravity. For any of you who don’t know, Sandra Bullock is my all time favorite actress and she did amazing to say the least!!! That couldn’t have been a easy film to make. With no one else to work off and working in an environment that is completely alien, she pulls off an incredible performance. For anyone getting this movie I highly recommend you watch the extra features. It is completely mind boggling the thought, detail, and time… that when into parts and details of this movie. Mostly because that look so realistic you don’t even realize it’s completely engineered. It definitely take you on one hell of an emotional journey and really makes you think about your own life (without you even realizing your doing it at times) I will be completely disappointed if it does not bring home at least three (director, sound, and of coarse best leading actress) major awards this weekend at the Oscars ( I would probably have to swear off awards season for the rest of my life) especially considering it has been over looked for the most part thus far.
    Well there you have it!
And PS I don’t normally do stuff like this in fact this is my 1st time!

I agree with Becky. Ms. Bullock should have won Best Actress. Breaking ground to act in a unique setting has to be the most challenging for an actor, which she did superbly. (Same comment for Mr. Phoenix.) I am not a “space” fan, so I expected to be bored and only watched since I like to see all the nominees and I am always entertained by Ms. Bullock. But she put me on the edge of my seat and I was terrified for her and seriously contemplated the horror of the situation, facing mortality alone as far from home as possible. The role played by Blanchett was ok, but who does not know what loss and depression on earth looks like? I don’t get it, but the Academy must be politically driven as is all big business. Tell Ms. Bullock this is my first ever fan letter to anyone, but I was compelled to tell her how much her performance merited the award. I hope she gets all the positive messages.
